ABOUT US

The Smoking Barrels club was set up by four shooters new to the sport and fresh off the NRA probationary course. After facing a litany of obstacles and pitfalls whilst trying to join other clubs affiliated to the NRA, we started shooting as group on a fairly regular basis. Between the four of us, we had built up relationships with a number of instructors within the NRA and other new shooters. This quickly saw our group of four swell to well over 20. By this point, it was apparent that we needed to officially affiliate the club to give new and young shooters a place to shoot with other people of a similar ability and mindset. 
 

We now meet once a month to shoot from 600 to 1200 yards. We were officially affiliated with the NRA (UK) on the 14th February 2017 and received Home Office Approval on the 12th May 2017.
